La Clochette hotel

Le Petit Paris is a lovely boutique hotel with a French-colonial vibe located in the heart of historic Galle Fort. We had been roughing it a bit in local guesthouses and budget hotels in the north of the country and we wanted to give ourselves a little treat in Galle and Le Letit Paris was just the place.

First, the rooms. The rooms are all cutely decorated with a sort of French aesthetic and have full-size beds, mosquito nets, and dressers. The bathrooms are huge and the showers that work like charm (not always the case in Sri Lanka). Oh, and the rooms also have excellent air conditioning which is an absolute must.
