Market of Bastia

Bastia is a charming city, especially if you go on a Sunday, when the main street fills up with a crowded market. Here you can find everything imaginable, from pots to books, clothes to food. What I liked best about this market was that you can find well-preserved antiques at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is unbeatable, with lots of people buying and selling, but as it's a huge avenue, it never feels cramped. Best of all, nobody will try the hard sell on you. If you want to just wander around, you'll be left in peace. There are singers here too, so it's a great place to spend a quiet Sunday.
