Amazing

One of the most fascinating experiences I've ever had was spending the night in the desert and, above all, seeing the amazing sunrise above the dunes and how the sun warmed the sand and its shapes and colors shifted every second. It's also amazing to go and see the sky so full of stars in absolute silence. What else do you need to be happy?

Golden Dunes

Near Merzouga, you have the Kasbah Les Dunes d'Or, the gateway to the interminable dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. It's an idyllic place where you can head out to explore the desert, whether by four-wheeler, on food, in a 4x4, or on those most indispensable of desert transports: camel.

There's a paved road which leads to the hotel, which has good rooms, good food, and even a pool. trust me, taking a refreshing dip in the middle of the desert is a true luxury. I should also say that waking up first thing in the morning to scale the "Grand Dune" and seeing the sunrise is a really unique experience. As is seeing the sky light up at night with stars as bright and clear as few other places on Earth.

If you're in the area, you can't miss this part of the Erg Chebbi desert and its infinite and serpentine dunes.

Excellent

It was easy to book the trip - with communication before the trip. We were so glad we went with Camel Trips. We were picked up in Marrakech and taken to the luxury camp- which was amazing. The camel ride to the camp, the sunset, the Berber music at campfire, the stars at night, sunrise and sandboarding in am, and atv ride back to merzouga were some of the highlights. We also hired Camel trips for transportation for rest of trip, including Fez, Chefchaoun, Rabat, and then to Casablanca for our flight home. Ali, our driver, was amazing during the 7 days we traveled together. Highly recommend.

Excellent trip into the desert

Excellent

We had an amazing time visiting Sahara Desert.
Our agency Quiet Merzouga Desert Day Tours, offered us wonderful trip starting from Marrakech and ending in Fez.

All in all perfect holiday to repeat for a life time.

One of the best experiences of my life

Arriving in the desert by Jeep was one of the best experiences of my life. We went from seeing fertile land full of crops and flowers to the driest place imaginable, full of sand, dunes, and camels.

Nell'immensit sand

Nell'immensità della sabbia

Excellent
Morocco, a country of dreams, beautiful landscapes, many traditions, its inhabitants always warm and welcoming. Or always wanted to reach the desert and I did, every time we touched at differently. The immensity of color change, the feeling of being small, very small in front of this splendor of red sand in the twilight, pink or yellow with lights and shadows that follow us. Spend the night in the open air will give you the desire to know more closely the life of nomads, looking at the sky, almost, almost touch it, look at the stars and then hitting the silence, the solitude, but also the approach of the desert, the thrill of carefree living just to breathe only, remain a unique experience. The dunes of Merzouga in Morocco are the most beautiful, attractive for their height, striking the color of the sand and then the beauty of the landscape from Ouarzazate to Rissani and then Merzuga. There are many hotels and proposals to get in the middle of the dunes. My advice is to leave in the afternoon and arrive in the middle of the dunes with a caravan of camels, then move the notes in a bivouac in a nomad tent. Unforgettable will be the light in the sunset, the golden sand, the sea of sand, sand waves, the song of the sand, the voice of nature in front of us and then our dependence on nature. Wait for the sun to wake him up, the other colors, the strongest impressions which will dream again when you return. You will pass your way the city of Ouarzazate do not miss the opportunity to visit the Ksar Ait Ben Haddou that represents an example of Berber life. For sure you will meet the people, do not miss the chance to change your impressions with them and you get to be invited to drink a "mint tea" never refuse, and a tradition that expresses their warmth with which they invite you into their house. You would think that this experience, it may be, comes only once in life.

One night in the dunes of Merzouga, Morocco.

You go to the desert it was always one of my desires, the imagination that I always thought l overflowed. Think of the soft light of the morning and afternoon to see the volumes of the dunes, pequeez of human beings in the vastness, the absence of outside noises that lead to consciousness own, the direct relationship between the self and the Hereby the "tangibility" the word that I invented out, but I can not find another to describe the fusion between the skin and the elements-soil is pressed. Tunisia had already traveled several times leading to dozens of students next door and enjoying his enjoyment, but this time in Morocco were beyond the experiences. How will the experience and the huge dunes of Merzouga dunes rosy? This small photographic chronicle attempts to tell those feelings, the journey reaching the dunes, cut rosy on the horizon, the slow hosting lugareo, street vendors, the undulating surface, traces of bare feet, the output of the sun behind clouds, extraordinary in red coloration thereof, the silhouettes of the caravans of tourists pequeas walk guided by the guides, the glad overflowing of my students about dusk. Simply unforgettable. All my dreams are coming true and were pequeos a unique evening. At dawn, and after finding the immense size of these golden dunes compared with the first morning caravan, we continue the trip with the feeling of having attended a single moment be marked besides my files on my retina, which is most importantly, in the retina of my students in the assurance that there will also been memorable for them. PD server is already out of training, they, the students, were the ones who invited me to go to this last trip, of course the photos are the I gave, I hope that the images keep each and every one of the sensations I had every shot, every moment, every photon recorded on the sensor. To them I dedicate the last lesson as my life and color, that's what I have devoted myself for nearly 35 years.

Merzouga desert excursion-ErgChebbi

Quick answers to all kinds of doubts and practical advice that you answered no interest with no obligation and then not hire them answers. At the end we conclude my family and I are hired them for the great time we had tried mail. We hired the itinerary 5 days 4 nights .... Too bad !!! if we know that we were going to go so well had hired 7 days ... at least !!! We made a fantastic circuit, we went to Zaid, the brother of Hassan, in his 6 seater toyota "Fantastic" my 13 year old daughter had a blast with them; We stayed in fantastic Riad "Riad Bouchador" hotel Xaculas ties, Domir in Haim and hotel in the desert of Merzouga, which better. We finally made our trip a dream in their hands, I would spend hours thanking both detail and kindness on your part, make you feel at home ... or better !!! volveros naturally perform another circuit with them to visit other areas of Morocco.

A life experience

The problem of the month of August, it is not only the temperature, it's the little beasts. It was not until the night they calm down a bit ', so the camel left after sunset, you do not get - the desert. And as guides only go to places where they know there is less risk of being bitten, the possibilities are limited. If you say to your hotel that you would like to do, that will make the corresponding price. The clothing is lightweight cotton, legs and arms covered, as everywhere in Morocco, a cheche that you have purchased, good walking shoes and a good sweater for the night. But it is better to stay in the north or to visit the mountains. If Moroccans who live on site fleeing the summer desert is for a good reason. And I do not see what you could do "two nights" Merzouga, except to gasp for air conditioning all day ....
