Mezes y Raki en Nevizade Sokak

1 review of Mezes y Raki en Nevizade Sokak

Mezes

It is not only about basilicas, mosques and palaces in Istanbul. This fascinating metropolis also has a vibrant nightlife and dining, not too far from the very touristy Sultanahmet. Crossing the Galata Bridge you enter the Beyoglu district. Hidden among a maze of narrow streets you will find Nevizade Sokak, one of the most famous and ambient restaurants in the city. Ottoman singing buskers, vendors of fresh almonds, hundreds of people walking down the street, eating on the terraces. Any of the restaurants in the area is a favorable place to taste typical mezes (appetizers delicious Turkish) and take a glass of raki (the national spirit, very strong, flavored with anise).
