Mirador de Yanahuara

Yanahuara Arequipa is a district located approximately two miles from downtown. It is a set of 19th century ashlar arches in which the words of famous Arequipa are recorded. It has great views of the city and the Misti volcano in clear weather. The viewpoint is next to the main square of Yanahuara.

Best for relaxing half hour walk. there are little shops but nothing too overwhelming. best time to visit is probably around 2 pm on a weekend afternoon.
