Monastery of St. Benet

While climbing up the mountain of Montserrat, the charming monastery caught my attention. Since I wasn't in any hurry, I decided to stop and check it out because I had never visited during the many times I'd done tours of this incredible place. The monastery is small, and the nuns are very friendly and sweet, but you can only visit the church, which is very modern. Still, it was worth the stop, if only to buy some of the artisan products that the nuns make. Also, it's worth walking around the hillside route that offers stunning views of different regions of Barcelona.
