Mt Buller

I've lived in Mt. Buller for three months a year for the past 9 years working as coach of the junior Victoria snowboard team. Buller is a tiiiiiiiny village about 3 hours north of Melbourne. For those of us used to European and American slopes, skiing in Buller is liek skiing in your backyard! The slopes are short and not too steep and the lifts are a little past their prime. However, what appeals to me most is the social life associated with "being in the mountains": there are some nice restaurants where you can have a drink in good company, spa/wellness centers, gyms, cinemas, and various interesting little things to do.
