Museum E. Greco

Built on the foundations of an 6 century house and a Renaissance palace in Toledo's Old Jewish Quarter. It is very close to where the artist lived, but not exactly on the same site. The new building dates from the early twentieth century and was built on the initiative of the Marquis of Valle Vega, one of the first proponents of the art recovery Greco, largely ignored by academic prejudices.
