Museum of Bread

If you go to Alhaurin el Grande, you cannot stop without buying some of the delicious sweet pastry which is located in C / Cruz, and incidentally, you will see the museum which is right next door and belongs to the same family. The museum is located where there were some old ruins of a church in the center of Alhaurín, under the patronage of San Gaudenzio. In this church of the eighteenth century was the body of Saint Gaudenzio, a Roman soldier who was converted to Christianity and whose body from the Catacomb of Pontian was donated to the town of Alhaurin el Great by Pope Pius VI. Later this church was destroyed in the Spanish Civil War, and all the relics went missing.
