Museum of Minister

The local museum is quiet and interesting in Tvøroyri. Many old items from the 19th century, some are older. The guide was very enthusiastic, so it was a pleasure to watch and learn. The house is called the house of the doctor, because it was built for the first doctor on the island. The house has since been used for other purposes, once it was the city, but today it is a museum. There are many different things, including maritime history, the story of the doctor and the midwife, the history of agriculture, the history of local ferries. This charming little museum is absolutely worth a visit, if you find local museums like this interesting.
