National Museum of Military History

The Musee National d'Histoire Militaire (Diekirch) includes aspects of field daily life of the German and American soldiers that took part in the conflict, as well as civilians who were caught in the cross fire. It gives an example of the dramatic story of human suffering, the tragedy, courage and bravery. The museum has an important role in promoting mutual ties of friendship between Germany, the United States, and Luxembourg by the shared memory.
