Oasis of Huacachina

This is is an oasis which is situated 5 kilometers west of the city of Ica, a few miles away from the Pacific coast of Peru, just south of Lima. It is a true natural oasis amid the white sands of the desert. It was formed by upwelling and undercurrents and around it there is a lot of vegetation, but the gossips say that it is artificial (there are too many businesses around the lake that consume the water). This was an amazing place to go and see, they also have dune buggy rides with sand boarding experiences. I loved it, I want to go and stay longer next time.
