By the river
The Parrot Inn is a pub which is just off Guildford and accessible by bus or a short 30 minute walk by the river. The food itself was not great. I tried a lamb burger with mint, roasted salmon and goat cheese baked tart. The family running the place, however, was very nice and helpful, and it was a good place to have a drink at the end of the walk. We spent about 25 pounds between three people for the food and then 2 pounds for cafe. There is a good selection of local and seasonal beers like Surrey Hills which is produced in the area. The menu attempts to change seasonally and it wasn´t bad, just not unforgettable.
