Patea

Located in the southern part of the volcano Taranaki, Patea is a small longitudinal town, now featuring tourism as well as the typical farm activity. In the strong summer months, especially February and March, the beaches offer nice waves for surfers. And off-season, the cliffs offer a unique spectacle. In addition, black dunes Carlyle beach and golf course are located just a few meters away, and there guests can find plenty of other types of recreational activities.
