Penang Hill

Penang Hill is the highest hill on the island of Penang, from which there are fantastic views of the city of Georgetown, Penang Bridge, and beyond. There are several things to interest tourists: food stalls, animal photo spots, and several restaurants. You can also find temples, one Muslim and the other Hindu. Another attraction is the old train carriages that can take you up to the top of the hill. There are two ways to get there. The first is through the Penang botanical garden, a paved road through the forest. If you like hiking, this is a good option - it's an inclined slope that runs for about 5km through a rather humid area.
