Walk calmly along the path
The Petrere castle is pretty and well cared for. It watches over the town from above. From there the city of Elda and the town of Petrer, separated just by a street, seem miniature. You can observe the city’s enclave along the interesting Vinalopo river, which at these heights, is too small and narrow to see. To get here, you have to imperiously cross Petrer’s old quarters. Be as careful as possible, as the path is steep and tiring. I’d recommend that you go slowly and calmly along the path. Enjoy it and… you’ll eventually arrive at the castle.
