Place Bertin - Chamber of Commerce

One of the buildings that catch your attention in Malecón in Saint Pierre is called "Place Bertin", located next to the Local Market. It is an administrative building, headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, which was completely rebuilt in the colonial style after the eruption of Mount Pelée. It is a colonial mansion two stories high, constructed of wooden slats, Caribbean-style. The entrance consists of steps and a porch, above which overlooks at the clock on the villa.
