Hostal Cusco Plaza is a nice place to stay in Aguas Calientes, the town at the foot of Machu Picchu. It's well located near the train station and bus station where you depart for Machu Picchu. I particularly liked the fact that all the rooms have views over the river and the mountains bordering Aguas Calientes.
