National Museum of Postal Services and Telecommunication

2 reviews of National Museum of Postal Services and Telecommunication

A large collection of postal items

Rabat's central post office is on Avenue Mohamed V. If you need to send a package or a letter home, the post office is the most reliable option, and there are collections more regularly than in some of the smaller offices. There is also a museum of post and telecommunications, which has been open since 1970. There are large collections of stamps, envelopes, telephone, and telegraph machines. You can see Morocco's first stamp, dating back to the twelfth century, with an image of the Aisaoua mosque in Tanger.
