History of the District
The Raccolta Privata Toraldo di Francia (Tropea) is in a palace with origins in the seventeenth century. It was remodelled several times over the centuries. In the museum there are manuscripts of the Toraldo family history from the twelfth to the sixteenth century (Papal Bulls, marriage certificates, etc.) documenting the social and economic history of the district.
