Residencia Max-Kade
Max-Kade is a university residence located in Stadtmitte (city center of Stuttgart). Every Wednesday, the students convert the attic, on the 15th floor, into a disco bar. The terrace runs along much of the building offering an excellent view of the city. The party is designed by and for students so you will find yourself with a very young crowd and enjoying very cheap prices. There is a great variety of cocktails including the Screwdriver, Mojito, Pina Colada, Tequila Sunrise and Cubalibre classic. Each cocktail costs about 3 euros. You will also find non-alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Of course, no visit to Germany is complete without beer.
It is served in a separate bar and, like the cocktails, there is a variety to choose from. A 33cl bottle costs 1.5 euros. The only drawback is that you have to be on an approved guest list to visit Max-Kade. Each resident can invite an unlimited number of people. However, if you are not in a very large group and arrive early, they often let you in.
