A real gem
About 2 kilometers northwest of the village of Contin there are beautiful waterfalls on the Black Water River, especially during the salmon season (April-May), when the river teems with life. Getting to the falls is very simple, because in the A835 there is a parking spot, from which a walk of 15 minutes will take you there. The trail is well-marked, and you'll reach a bridge which only five people can cross at a time. A real Scottish gem.
