Royal Street

As in almost all the villages in inland Andalusia, the main street is named "Calle Real", in honor of the Catholic Kings who rescued these enclaves from Moorish hands. This street in Casabermeja is long and winding, with a steep slope, which starts almost at the foot of the main church, in this case the Church of the town's patron saint, Nuestra. Sra del Socorro. The vicinity has stately homes with large porches and courtyards filled with potted flowers and adorned with typical tiles, a place that invites relaxation, sheltered from strong Andalusian sun.
