18th century residence
La Bodega Rubicon is owned by the Grimón Lopez family. It's an 18th century residence, an example of traditional island manor house architecture. There are guestrooms, a winery and 30 acres of vineyards. Since its inception, the winery has been dedicated to producing wines using traditional methods, like century old wood presses, earthen excavated area, and cement tanks for storage. Over time, the owners have restored the warehouses and acquired new tracts of land.
