Having emerged in the nineteenth century by Baron Haussmann in the reorganization and restructuring of the Parisian capital and rallying the fifth and sixth arrondissements of Paris, Boulevard Saint Michel (often called the Boul 'Mich' by students, name due to students seeking "declericalize" the name of the road) is one of the longest and most pleasant city. We especially like its northern end (those affecting the Seine), with its many shops, the Saint Michel fountain and the heart of the bustling neighborhood. Do not miss!
