Tours conurbation, but peaceful city

The city of Saint-Avertin borders Tours, in its southern shore of the River Cher, attached to her older sister, it looks a bit like a village, and is part of the puzzle which is the Tours conurbation. The village center with its church and a few pedestrian streets is the village! Their small shops allow people from the camp site to stock up with essentials. In the center, near the banks of the Cher, there's also the summer bar, quiet family Guinguette Nouvelle, shows, events, concerts and more. Easily accessible by bike from Tours, following the banks of the Cher, very close by bus or car, Saint-Avertin is truly a great place to stay to visit Tours and its castles.
