A youth hostel
The Modena youth hotel is in a wonderful historical building in the centre of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to lodgings for travelers, the building has a wing providing student accommodation for teenagers. It's a beautiful site, with bright orange and ochre colours, giving it a wonderful warm feeling. Drawbacks are the fact that you have to pay for wifi, and the living room, which is fairly ordinary, with just some vending machines for snacks and drinks.
