A popular student hangout
The park of Santa Chiara is a recreational space popular with students of the University of Trento. It is located behind the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy. It's common to see young people lying on the grass here, but also older people taking a walk, or parents bringing their children to play. It's at its most beautiful in spring, when the wisteria cover the walkway next to the walls. As well as the academic buildings, there's a canteen for the students and the largest theatre in the city. These buildings once housed the old hospital.
