Stadio della Vittoria

L'arena della Vittoria è uno dei due stadi della città di Bari (l'altro è il più famoso Stadio San Nicola, santo protettore della città). L'arena si trova nei pressi della Fiera del Levante e fu costruita nel 1933 per celebrare la promozione del Bari nella Divisione Nazionale. La gara di appalto venne vinta dall'impresa edile Romolo Vaselli di Roma, aiutata da Ferrobeton. Quest'ultima fu una delle più importanti società edili del tempo e realizzò anche la Metropolitana di Milano e il Grattacielo dei Mille di Catania. Fu inaugurata l'anno successivo alla presenza di Benito Mussolini, anche se i lavori non erano ancora stati del tutto completati. Qui si svolgono eventi sportivi di calcio e rugby, ma anche concerti di musica leggera. Io qui ho visto Santana, ma si sono esibiti altri grandi nomi come Vasco Rossi, Jovanotti, Guccini e molti altri ancora.

The Arena is located near the Fiera del Levante, and was built in 1933 to celebrate the promotion of Bari in the National Division. The tender was won by the building Vasey Romulus of Rome, helped by Ferrobeton. The latter was one of the most important companies of the construction time and a be also the Milan metro and the rise of the Thousand of Catania. It opened the following year in the presence of Benito Mussolini, even though the work had not yet been fully completed. Here we are held sports events of football and rugby, but also pop concerts. I've seen here Santana, but they performed other big names such as Vasco Rossi, Jovanotti, Sinatra and many others.

È uno stadio nel quale però non si svolge più alcun tipo di incontro calcistico. È diventato ancor piu famoso nel corso degli anni, perché è solito ospitare concerti con numeri minori rispetto allo stadio San Nicola.

It is a stage in which, however, no type of football meeting takes place. It has become even more famous over the years, because it is usual to host concerts with smaller numbers than the San Nicola stadium, symbol of the city.

Utilizzato ultimamente per grandi concerti ma anche per alcuni eventi sportivi. Ha diverse entrate ed il parcheggio non è difficile da trovare nelle vicinanze.
