Statue of Icarus

You can find this unique, beautiful bronze sculpture in the port of Alicante. It's the work of Esperanca d'Ors, and what caught my attention the most was its name: The Return of Icarus with his Surfing Wing. Funny, right? This is indeed an evocation of the legendary character who fell into the sea, but here he's returned from the water on a surfboard! I recommend taking a look, and it's in a great part of town.
