Stogumber Station

Stogumber station is in the town of the same name, but it costs a bit to find it, because it is out of town, a 20 min walk, but we drove. The station is on the line of Somerset Scenic Railway, which departs from Taunton to the seaside town of Minehead. Stogumber is more or less half way. The station is very nice, is a small house, with a fireplace, and when you open (the handles tourism today a partnership with volunteers) served tea and coffee in and you can see the old decor and objects of daily life of the employee of the railways who lived there. The special Stogumber station has a great picnic area with benches and lots of flowers, a warm place, and altogether this small garden beside the station can receive up to 30 people.
