A surfer's haven
Aracajú has 35km of beaches, and ever-shifting waves. Surfing has become a main part of coastal life. Caueira beach, the main and most famous, is 29km south. Atalaia also has areas for surfing, as well as Artistas beach with restaurants and bars to truly ride waves. In all of them, there are surf schools and equipment leasing.
