Estando de viaje hay sitios que te sorprenden e impresionan y que sabes que se va a convertir en una historia que vas a contar mil veces sin que te cueste nada, solo por el placer de recordarla. Este hotel con termas es así, una auténtica sorpresa y un autentico lujo. Situado en la falda del volcán Arenal, aprovecha la propia actividad geotérmica del volcán para calentar un río y desarrollar a lo largo de su recorrido una zona de baños termales absolutamente impresionante. Más de una veintena de zonas de baño, con diferentes temperaturas (según te alejas del volcán el agua se va enfriando y en otras zonas se mezclan con otros afluentes) y en un entorno único. Acabar bañándote con agua calentita en mitad de la selva entre nubes de vapor es una gozada. Tanto que hasta se nos hizo de noche. Si además quieres quedarte en el hotel (hotel y termas están separadas unos 300 metros y hay un servicio de shuttle continuo hasta las 10 de la noche) es muy probable que alucines. Esta literalmente metido en la selva y vas a acabar durmiendo escuchando sonidos de animales. Las habitaciones son increíbles. Enormes, con una cama gigante (de esos colchones que vas a necesitar casi un taburete para subirte), con jacuzzi en medio y con una selección de cafés, tés... Además de tener wifi (muy bien!). Para comer tienes dos opciones, ambas de buffet. Uno situado en el propio hotel y otro en la zona termal. Lo dicho. Una maravilla.

Los huespedes del hotel tienen derecho al uso del balneario, que está separado de las instalaciones del hotel, te llevan hasta allí en coches (tipo de los de los campos de golf) y la verdad es que el balneario merece la pena hay un montón de piscinas naturales escalonadas hacia el volcán, cuanto más subes más caliente está el agua. Si no estás alojado en el hotel hay entradas para medio día o día completo. También si tienes tiempo te puedes hacer algún tipo de tratamiento de belleza, masajes...

Este lugar es un escape de la selva de cemento en que vivimos a una real selva perfectamente acondicionada donde te reencuentras con tu espíritu y donde la naturaleza se apodera de nuestros pensamientos.Tiene unas espectaculares cascadas de agua tibia completamente naturales las aguas pasan por debajo de ese magestuoso volcán que dicho sea de paso es el centro de atraccion y luego caen en unas piscinas completamente naturales de piedras volcanicas un paraíso este lugar es de verdad uno de los mas hermosos que he conocido perfecto para enamorase o encontrarse espiritualmente se los recomiendo.
