Paseando por el casco histórico de George Town, en el límite de Little India, hay un templo que suele pasar desapercibido y no viene en todas las guías ni rutas de viaje por la ciudad.
Se trata del templo Han Jiang, un templo que cuyas obras de restauración finalizaron en 2006 siendo el resultado tan bueno que recibió un premio de la UNESCO por la aportación a la Conservación del Patrimonio Cultural.
Nada más cruzar sus puertas, a ambos lados, hay dos salas en las que se puede ver el estado en el que se encontraba el templo y los trabajos de restauración para dejarlo en el estado actual.
Hay que fijarse en la decoración de sus puertas con los Cuatro Reyes Celestiales.
Strolling through the historic center of George Town, on the edge of Little India, there is a temple that often goes unnoticed and does not come in all guides or travel routes around the city. It is the Han Jiang Temple, a temple whose restoration work was completed in 2006 and was so successful that it received a UNESCO award for its contribution to the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. Just across the gates, on both sides, there are two rooms where you can see the state in which the temple was and the restoration works to leave it in the current state. You have to look at the decoration of its doors with the Four Heavenly Kings.
