Mi experiencia con este paraje natural, se remonta a mi mas tierna infacia, es un tramo del Rio Cabriel lleno de rapidos, saltos de agua, cascadas y lagunas de la mas cristalina agua, pues el Rio Cabriel es uno de los mejor conservados de toda Europa. Pues mi experiencia con este lugar es desde niño cuando iba con mis amigos y familiares a disfrutar del río y la naturaleza en un paraje natural. En los últimos tiempos he disfrutado desde otro punto de vista pues he descendido el río con neopreno, casco, etc... Con las empresas de deportes que hay en el pueblo y tengo que decir que lo pasas muy bien, es divertido y sorprendente. Disfrutar de la naturaleza, del río y de la compañía de amigos es extraordinario. Os recomiendo que conozcais " Las Chorreras del Rio Cabriel " en Enguidanos, siempre respetando y conservando un paraje natural increíble. Como digo mi experiencia es desde niño el ir con mis amigos, padres y familiares a disfrutar del río, bañarse, saltar y pasar el día en este paraje rodeado de naturaleza y amigos. En los últimos años lo he conocido de otra manera realizando un descenso del río con neoprenos, casco, etc... Con las empresas de deportes que hay en el pueblo, es aun mas increíble lo que se disfruta este lugar.

Las Chorreras son unas calas formadas por el río Cabriel en un descenso que ha tallado la roca creando un paisaje expectacular y bellisimo con cascadas y balsas de agua para darte un baño y disfrutar de la naturaleza en su estado puro. Incluso si tienes agilidad y buena forma física puedes subir hasta la parte mas alta y disfrutar de los paisajes mas bellos y si tienes una cámara acuatica podrás realizar unas de las fotos mas bellas que te puedas llevar a casa. Este paraje se encuentra en el Municipio de Enguìdanos, Cuenca en Castilla la Mancha. a tan solo a 1h y media aproximadamente de Albacete. Recomiendo este lugar por que es un lugar ùnico!! Al llegar al pueblo hay carteles que indican como llegar hasta las chorreras o puedes obtener mas información en la oficina de turismo de Enguídanos (Oficina de Turismo de Enguídanos 969 344 935).

Aun recuerdo aquel verano de hace por lo menos 18 años, estando en Cardenete, como cada verano. Mi padre y mis tios junto con mis primos y yo, fuimos a dar una vuelta por Enguidanos y nos desviamos hacia la central Lucas Urquijo. Pasamos por las antiguas viviendas de los trabajadores y nos metimos por el sendero que lleva a las Chorreras. En aquel entonces no había un alma en este paraíso, nos bañábamos desnudos, había una tranquilidad absoluta en aquel paraje majestuoso. Ese verano volvimos muchas tardes a bañarnos allí, era un regalo, cansados de la afluencia de gente en los ríos Puente Hierro y Malena, las chorreras eran un lugar donde te aislabas del mundo real. Cada año que pasaba ya iba llegando mas gente, pues el boca a boca corre como la pólvora, hasta el punto que la ultima vez que fui hace un año había cola hasta para acceder... Sigue siendo un sitio maravilloso pero nada que ver con el paraíso que yo encontré.

Este apartamento es muy tranquilo y esta ubicado en un pueblo con casas muy antiguas en callejuelas serpenteantes con encanto. Las habitaciones están completamente equipadas con cocina completa, habitaciones con armarios empotrados y sofá cama, de construcción reciente. Tiene un restaurante donde sirven platos típicos de la zona y creaciones propias deliciosos, y también tiene una terraza para tomar copas, mojitos, etc con unas excelentes vistas del valle. El pueblo tiene piscina municipal y pista de frontón. El río Cabriel, que actualmente es el catalogado como el mas limpio de Europa, pasa a menos de 200 metros del pueblo y tiene una zona de baño excelente con forma de playa, que se llama La Playeta, el agua esta fría pero todos los días que estuvimos comprobamos que no estaba tan fría como otros ríos y el cuerpo se acostumbraba rápidamente, disfrutando los niños sin parar. Por ultimo y más importante es la zona denominada Las Chorreras a solo 5 km, con zona de aparcamiento, donde el río a formado un trayecto de unos 200 a 300 metros de zona de baño increíble, con zonas de agua de caída muy lenta donde el baño es relajante, con forma de playa y infinitas charcas o piscinas naturales formadas en la roca, cada con su particular cascada, unas grandes otras pequeñas, zonas donde se puede caminar por el río con una profundidad de 10 a 20 centímetros, donde el agua ha depositado sus residuos dejando el suelo áspero, haciendo posible el paso sin riesgo de resbalar. Existen cuevas, una de ellas grandísima. En definitiva un lugar con un paisaje increíble donde lo pasamos en grande pequeños y grandes, y que en la misma estancia de 5 días repetimos volviendo al lugar. Además tenemos pensado volver, pero esta vez sin niños, contratando los servicios de una de las muchas empresas de recreo que existen en la zona, una de ellas en el mismo pueblo de Enguidanos, para hacer un trayecto solo accesible para ellos, donde existen toboganes y saltos naturales donde se puede experimentar emociones mayores, siempre con trajes de neopreno y cascos que ellos mismos proveen, debe ser fantástico pues los días que fuimos a Las Chorreras vimos bajar numerosos grupos. Para pasar un día estupendo en Las Chorreras es recomendable ir con zapatillas deportivas o de treking que se puedan mojar pues tras probar varios estos eran los que mejor se adaptaban al agua y a las zonas secas. Se me olvidaba, también existen zonas señalizadas y recorridos oficiales de senderismo pudiendo disfrutar aun mas del Valle del río Cabriel.

Cuando ya creía que lo sabía todo, me sorprenden con más, estuve este fin de semana e hice una ruta 4x4 en el super Land-Rover, visité una aldea que se llama el Charandel, flipé con el sitio! eso es un paraíso!!! Al día siguiente, visité un paraje que se llama el perejil, lo hicimos en barca con motor eléctrico, la visita fue preciosa, paredes de 200 o 300 Mtrs nos rodeaban y nos sentiamos solos en el lugar, una pasada de sitio!!! Siguiendo los consejos dados en Minube nos fuimos a pasar un fin de semana y la verdad el sitio es espectacular muy bonito con unas pozas dignas de visitar aunque sea una vez en la vida, pero.....que abandonado esta todo, carretera,entorno y hasta las propias pozas, súper sucio, restos de bolsas de visitas anteriores latas de bebidas a montones colillas de cigarriros otras miles y para colmo se podría montar una zapatería de todos los que encuentras desde el aparcamiento hasta el rio. Una pena, ojalá alguien tome nota y haga algo al respecto.

Todos los años, tantos como puedo recordar, visito al menos una vez este rinconcito de Cuenca. Un lugar magnífico, natural, refrescante, mágico. Son muchos los que dedican tiempo y esfuerzo en mantenerlo vivo y natural, no dejéis que se pierda.

Con amigos o familia. El parking tiene muy pocas plazas, así que o llegas muy pronto o aparcar por algún repecho de la carretera o puedes subir en “lanzadera” desde el pueblo (pasa cada hora). Desde la entrada hasta las chorreras hay unos 15 minutos de fácil acceso, incluso con niños. La lanzadera te deja al final del camino asfaltado y se hace mas corto. No hay nada para comer/beber. El agua esta fresca pero es un bañi agradable. Por la tarde se llena aun mas. No todo el mundo es respetuoso con los residuos.

Este puente he estado en este paraje y tengo que decir que un lugar precioso para darte un baño con un agua limpia y fresquita, pero lo que es el borde del río (la tierra ) está llena de basura, defecaciones, etc... parece mentira que no respetemos la naturaleza. También muy penoso el parkin con una nube de polvo, los coches todos blancos de polvo y solamente un chiringuito para poder comprar una botella de agua. Deberían poner unos baños públicos y adecentar un camino para subir río arriba. Estaría mucho mejor. A pesar de todo volveré a darme un chapuzón ....
