Like the neighboring Royal Crescent, The Circus is a residential area in Bath. It was designed by the architect John Wood the Elder, father of the architect of the Royal Crescent. Like his son's work, the Circus is connected to Freemasonry. There are Masonic symbols throughout the building. The architect's inspiration was the Roman Colosseum. The apartments are luxurious, and when one goes up for sale, the bidding wars are incredible!
