Unité d'Habitation (Le Corbusier)

The Housing Unit Marseille, is one of the most important works by Le Corbusier, and a building that fits into any category of architecture worldwide. Le Corbusier was the subject of study in my years at university and I could not pass up the chance to see this building which reveals one of his theories. Le Corbusier said that buildings, like people, have "feet, body and head." In the area of ​​the body, this building allows 1600 inhabitants and duplex apartments which are accessed through interior corridors. The feet are the access floor, raised free of subsoil, the head, is the terrace where there are games anew recreation.
