Tocopilla

It is located on the Pacific coast, 190 km north of Antofagasta and Calama 160 km. It has a railroad terminal nitrate and saltpeter machining port and two power plants. For sightseeing, you can visit the Spa Covadonga which is at the southern entrance of the town, the Clock Tower which is made of polychrome wood and is next to the parish church, and the harbor entrance or Maria Elena Mine.
