Tram Velez-Malaga Torre del Mar

The tram from Velez-Malaga to Torre del Mar is the first Andalusian metropolitan railway. It opened on October 11th, 2006. The tram route connects the center of Torre del Mar, from the Church of San Andrés (which is where you'll find this little station) and the Paseo de Larios, with the center of Vélez-Málaga, in Jurado Lorca Park. It's a nice and short trip, only around 4.7 kilometers, on which there are about 9 stops, including one at the Regional Hospital and another in the shopping center El Ingenio. This is an alternative to typical bus rides.
