Uwajima Castle

In Ehime there's a small castle and for my taste, it was lovely. To get there you have to walk for about 10 minutes from the station Uwajima. The castle is situated, like all defensive buildings, on top of high ground so you have to climb quite high to get to it but quite nice as it is through woodland and gardens: The castle looms over the road but after turning a corner, suddenly its figure is among a group of trees Although a castle of one body and muted colors the truth is that it's charming. It consists of three wooden floors and you can go inside. On the walls of each floor there are pictures of various castles in Japan.
