Vilchez Beach

This quite wide black sand beach, is located in the area of the Torrox Costa, off the old N-340. It makes a small bend like a cove, and the sea here is almost always calm. The municipalities of Torrox and Nerjade have proposed to convert this beach into a Puerto Deportivo, which would have about 500 berths. The project is pending, waiting the approval of an environmental impact study by the Provincial Delegation of Environment.
