1 review of Villa de Las Ferias Park

Stunning views of the Castle de la Mota

Nestled in the "Chopal", opposite the old, and now disused, barracks Marqués de la Ensenada and about 5 minutes walk from the town center. The park was created by Cristóbal Gabarrón in honor of the XV and XVI century city fairs. Access ramps are marked with an interpretation of old fairground scrolls and are surrounded by a unique railing with geometric shapes on which can be read "Fernando de Antequera y Doña Leonor, Villa de las Ferias". The park consists of lawned areas with colorful metal pergolas and benches (now quite faded). Each plot represents a different craft fair in the town during its heyday.
