It is physically impossible to see...

It is physically impossible to see every temple, even the really interesting ones, in only one day, especially because the heat is often devastating, so what I recommend is sleeping in Ayutthaya and starting very early in the morning, resting at noon and then returning in the afternoon or early evening to see the temples when they are all lit up. The first temple I visited in Ayuthayya was Ratchaburana Wat, the temple of the Royal Restoration, built in the fifteenth century by King Borom Ratchathirat II (1424-1448). It underwent a major foray into 1957, when thieves entered the crypt of the central tower (prang) and took a large number of relics buried there.
