A perfect location - it would be impossible to be more central, as it's in the central square of Salta, in front of the MAAM museum and practically next to the cathedral. But the best thing about it is definitely the breakfast, with artisan cakes changing every day: chocolate, caramel, fruit ... incredible! The staff are very attentive. There's a piano, with live music performances. The only drawback, is that the hotel is in a nineteenth century building - it has a lot of history, but is in need of reform.
Located in the exclusive neighbourhood of San Lorenzo, a few minutes from the centre of Salta, the Hotel El Castillo offers its guests the chance to relax in the luxury of the 19th century in a total palace - high ceilings, huge, beautiful rooms (some even with a mezzanine and fireplace), and wonderful service. It is a good starting point for an exploration of the Park of San Lorenzo, which can be visited.
Salta is the capital of the province of the same name, in the northwest of Argentina. It is the most populous city in the area, and there are plenty of hotel options if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the city. For example, the Hotel Aybal is a boutique hotel, 10 minutes from the centre, 5 from the airport and 5 from the convention centre. It is south of the city, in a quiet area. The rooms have air conditioning, heating, and wifi. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, parking, outdoor swimming pool, barbecue-grill, medical emergency services, and three thousand metres of garden.
