I wanted to show another one of the hotels where we were when we went to Thailand, particularly in Chiang Mai. The Empress Hotel. It is a charming hotel situated in an eastern town within walking distance of the market and close to Spanish restaurants, because yes, there are Spanish restaurants and more than one, yes sir. Well I leave you with these photos showing a bit of what I'm saying. Travellers Greetings.
The Hotel Holiday Inn Chiang Mai is very close to the tourist center and not even 5 minutes away. It was a 4 star hotel and is very simple, but it is very well equipped with a gym, pool, conference rooms, 3 restaurants and a bar. The rooms are very basic with carpeting, an old air conditioning, as is furniture whiche seemed very outdated. The best thing of all for me were the room views because they are unbeatable, as some were of the Mae Ping River and others overlook the sacred Doi Suthep mountain. It is a great choice for people who want to visit Chiang Mai without spending a lot of money, because although it is a 4-star hotel it is very average, always considering the high quality of the Thai hotels. Here you know that if don´t want to spend a lot of money and you want a basica hotel, this is your option. But don´t hope for big luxury because the rooms are standard.
