Good quality food
The Angel is one of those traditional restaurants in Santiago that has been renovated, but hasn't lost the essence of good cooking. It's not the cheapest place in the city, but nor is it the most expensive (about 40 euros per person, with a good glass of wine), especially considering the quality of the seafood on offer. The menu doesn't offer any innovations or modern fusion cuisine, but everything is great, from the rice (the one with scallops is to die for) to salads, and of course the seafood. The building is beautiful, within walking distance of the cathedral and in front of some public parking
