Ano Syros

Ano Syros is located on a hill a few kilometers from the capital, Ermoupolis. If you enjoy walking, it is recommended to walk up here, otherwise, a taxi will take you closer to the base of the hill. There is some traditional Catholic archtecture here, the most representative building is the cathedral of Agios Georgios, which is located at the highest point of the city. It is worth walking through the narrow Venetian style streets of this village that was built in the thirteenth century.
