Tal vez de las menos visitadas , pero me atrajo desde el principio y si merece la pena llegar a la isla a su bahía " Livadi " con sus tamariscos que proporcionan su sombra , la única manera es llegar en ferry o hídrofoil donde se encuentra el puerto .
Así que tras anunciar la sirena nuestra llegada , había diferentes coches de hoteles esperando , el nuestro no .

Ya en tierra firme , de lejos localice el Hotel Maistrali en Livadi , sencillo pero correcto , con muy buena situación junto a la playa de Livathos , entre arena y guijarros . Y ni cortas ni perezosas decidimos ir a pie tirando de las maletas , fue otra forma de llegar al hotel sin duda .
Tomando ya contacto con el paseo marítimo y de paso ojeando el restaurante donde comeríamos .

Una isla muy pequeña , tranquila de unos 70 Km y de ellos pocos están asfaltados por lo que no alquilamos coche , si utilizamos el único bus a 2 E el trayecto .
De lejos se aprecia que es bella y lo vas confirmando al llegar al puerto . Una isla virgen que merece ser descubierta , con rincones que son pequeñas joyas , con una capital a la que llegar ¡ te lo piensas dos veces , pues es un autentico nido de águila .
Elegimos el hotel en el Livadi , en el puerto cuando vimos que la capital ostentaba la cima en lo mas alto de la colina ¡ Y fue un acierto , es el lugar donde mas ambiente hay de la isla , a la vez de ser la parte mas cómoda !
También el lugar mejor para alojarte y donde se encuentran los pocos restaurantes que hay , al borde de la playa o incluso dentro de la arena , donde se come muy a gusto los productos del mar .
Una isla para disfrutarla en un par de días con los cinco sentidos , tan silenciosa que aveces incluso te sorprendes de estar tan relajada confirmando lo idílico de un lugar .
Si en tu viaje optas por una isla tranquila , un refugio por pocos descubierto ¡ No olvides incluir a Sérifos !
