Dangerously Cheesy Pizza
We decided to check out Filippi’s Pizza Grotto during our stay in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood because of the reviews that we had read online. We opted to share a Pepperoni Pizza because they looked so filling! And we were not wrong…we couldn't even finish the entire thing…which is SO not like us! This was probably the cheesiest pizza I've ever had, but it was absolutely delicious. The pastas, lasagnas and traditional dishes looked incredible, as well, and the wine list was decent. Casual atmosphere, casual vibe, and extremely satisfying food. Wear your stretchy pants!
