A historical farm.

Enter the farm M. Viader is going into the history of Barcelona. It is the oldest farm in Barcelona run by the same family. Has been open since 1870. It started as a family dairy opened from Cardedeu. Hence, his specialty are milk and its derivatives: killed, yogurt, cream ... Marc Viader promoted the foundation of Latvian SA (with its flagship product Cacaolat fruit of his son with the help of a Hungarian chemist) and managed to sanitize the milk to extend its period of use, and have efficient systems for packaging and transport. The farm currently the fourth generation runs Viader and eggs and milk remain Cardedeu. In his workshop is still made fresh cheese, killed and many products with the same recipe as their ancestors. In the same marble tables sat "Mossèn" Cinto Verdaguer or Pablo Picasso. You can just buy a variety of cheeses, artisan meats, pastries, etc ... all handcrafted products. Clearly, it does not take much imagination to find just sit with a bit of history of Barcelona .... and with the best chocolate and cream! You can see their website: ' http://www.granjaviader.cat/'

Granja viader, barcelona

Not far from the Boqueria market, in a small street is Granja Viader. Open the door and enter this wonderful coffee but also deli that exists since 1870 in Barcelona. The Granje Viader is a whole universe: the ancient decoration like a trip back in time with its old tile that has seen so many people go, famous (Picasso, for example) or not, deli, but especially her hot chocolate (Spanish style) and house specialties (mel i mato example). I did not go look no further, the best Catalan cream Barcelona, I asked here. Perfect yes, then tap the back of the spoon and you hear the magical sound of a good Catalan cream, this noise for months after thinking you always hear the Granja Viader and the specialty of the region. And now, how Granja Viader becomes a place of passage when it comes to Barcelona (and he knows success, always busy), because coffee is more than a landmark of Barcelona's cuisine.

Granja viader, barcelone

Legendary address

If Barcelona is full address of tapas bars and other restaurants of paella, it also contains a few popular addresses sweet tooth ... Among them is including Granja Viader emblematic tea lost in the streets surrounding the famous Boqueria market. It is a historical address, which seems to have survived the ages without taking a ride: the decor has not moved an inch, the servers are in traditional dress, and the products look the same as in the purest tradition Barcelona ... You can taste excellent local pastries, but also, and this is what attracts the crowds, hot chocolate with a sweet tooth say it would be one of the best in town ... And confirmed, while licking his lips, and confident that the churros are not left ...

Mythique adresse
